Greater Des Moines COVID Transportation Updates
Des Moines International Airport offering over 25 nonstop flights, continues to adjust operating procedures to keep travelers safe. Face coverings are required when in the terminals. Travelers are encouraged to arrive 90 minutes before flight departure to allow for extra time when going through TSA as physical distancing measures are in place. DART Bus offers a safe and affordable way to get around Des Moines. Their service is running with an adjusted schedule for several routes. Extra buses will be running on busier routes to accommodate social distancing practices, as well as limiting the number of people in DART central station. Riders are asked to board and exit the bus through the rear door. Face coverings are required on the buses and in the lobby of DART central station.
