Jordan Creek Town Center & Mall

When you’re in need of a new ’fit or two, there’s only one place to go: Jordan Creek Mall & Town Center. With 150+ popular stores, Iowa’s largest shopping mall (and the fourth largest in the Midwest) is not only spacious and bursting with shops and restaurants, but its atmosphere and lakefront boardwalk make it a whole vibe unto itself.

Situated in the heart of Des Moines’ entertainment district, this mall is located steps from a neighboring center featuring retailers like Petco, DSW, and Best Buy, as well as popular entertainment venues Smash Park and Dave and Buster’s. Together, they make a walkable, theme-park-sized shopping destination. No wonder it’s been the area’s premier shopping destination since it opened in 2004.

Shopping Destinations

Whether you want fresh kicks, kids’ clothes, new work wares, or beyond, you’ll find it at Jordan Creek Town Center. With two floors, it’s a one-stop shop where you can find everything you can imagine, including nationally renowned chains and locally beloved spots. Some of its hottest shops include Apple, Anthropologie, J. Crew, Pottery Barn, and H&M.

Attractions

All that shopping is bound to work up an appetite, and fortunately, there are a wide variety of places to eat in and around Jordan Creek Mall. The indoor food court includes a range of cuisines and tastes, from Chik-fil-A and Cheesecake Factory to Sbarro and sushi. If you prefer more scenic dining, don’t miss Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Its patio overlooking the lake elevates the entire experience, and its menu of dry-aged steaks, succulent seafood, and globally curated wines is a delicious way to treat yourself or someone you love.

Located steps away, you’ll find other shopping destinations, including Costco, HomeGoods, DICKS Sporting Goods, and Nordstrom Rack. Adjacent to the mall is the Cinemark Century Jordan Creek 20 and XD. The 20-screen movie theater offers stadium seating and self-service ticketing kiosks that make the experience comfy and convenient.

On top of all that, Jordan Creek Town Center hosts seasonal events like fireworks, Holiday Tree Lighting, and photos with Santa.
