Throughout April and May, Blank Park Zoo’s Wild Lights Festival presented by MidAmerican Energy Company features nearly 50 handcrafted, larger-than-life, illuminated Asian lanterns. Those 21 and over can enjoy Zoo Brew after hours throughout the summer, featuring live music and local brews. Blank Park Zoo welcomes visitors every day. Throughout the summer, they are open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Starting in September, through May, the hours adjust to 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. They are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Whether you're an early bird or prefer a leisurely afternoon, the zoo's hours provide ample time to explore all it has to offer.
Ticket Prices range from $15.00 (for children 2 –12) to $20.00 (for adults 13 – 64). Senior citizens can enjoy a discounted rate of $19.00, and children under one year old are free. If you’re planning on visiting often, the zoo also offers memberships with fantastic benefits. With a membership, you gain unlimited access to the zoo, making it easy to return for multiple visits and explore all the animal encounters, exhibits, and events here.
