2024 Central Zone Championship Meet
The 2024 Central Zone Championship Swim Meet at Wellmark YMCA is looking for volunteers during their event from August 8 - 11. General volunteers as well as Swim Timer volunteers are needed.

IMT Des Moines Marathon
The IMT Des Moines Marathon is happening on October 20. Volunteers are needed to help out with check-in, water stations, finish line, and more. Sign up here to help out!

MVC Swim Conference Championships
The MVC Swim Conference Championships will be at the Waukee Natatorium February 26 – March 1 and they are looking for volunteers to help out. Learn more and sign up here!

National Senior Games (July 24 — August 4, 2025)
National Senior Games will take place in Greater Des Moines in 2025! It takes thousands of volunteers to make this two-week competition for 11,000+ athletes age 50+ possible. Volunteer Registration will open in Spring 2025, but if you want to learn more and be notified when it opens, sign up here.

Catch Des Moines is proud to partner with MidAmerican Energy Company and MidAmerican Energy CARES to provide thousands of volunteers at the various sporting events and conventions our community hosts. Community involvement and employee volunteerism allows our community and events to show locals and visitors our "Iowa Nice" hospitality and is key to running successful sporting event and conventions.
