Greater Des Moines Bars & Nightlife
As of August 27 and through September 20, 2020, Governor Kim Reynolds issued a declaration of disaster emergency closing bars in Polk County and five other counties in Iowa. Establishments that serve food and alcohol are required to stop serving alcohol at 10 p.m. nightly through the duration of the declaration.
Some bars, distilleries, and wineries may remain open for curbside takeout. Please inquire with individual establishments if you are interested in ordering to-go alcohol.
