Painting With a Twist
Take mom to Painting With a Twist between May 8 and May 12. Each day there will be a new painting and new Mother’s Day event to enjoy. Classes start at $27. Reserve your spot here.
Mother’s Day Cake Decorating
How about a day of cake decorating and cocktails? Join Always Baked DSM at Iowa Distilling for just that on May 12. You will receive a 6” cake to assemble and decorate while enjoying a cocktail. Your choice of cake flavors includes vanilla strawberry, wedding cake, or chocolate caramel. Tickets are $55 per person for the 21 and older event.
Mother’s Day Tea
Make it a girls’ day on Mother’s Day at Five Monkeys Inc. for their Mother’s Day Tea. Enjoy refreshments, paint a teacup and saucer, and make and take a craft project. Tickets are $ 70 and reservations are required.
Cake Decorating: Mother’s Day Edition
Head to Molly’s Cupcakes for the perfect celebration of mom. For $75 a pair, you’ll receive a 6-inch cake of your choice to decorate, two beverages, and tutorial on how to make the perfect floral cake. The class will be held at Molly’s Frozen on Saturday, May 11.
Bouquet Bar
The Botanical Garden is once again hosting their drop-in bouquet bar in honor of Mother’s Day. Create a personalized petite bouquet with or for your mom to celebrate her special day. Registration is required, you can do that here.
