After a decidedly different (and kind of weird) year of eating out and supporting local in 2020 (#DSMlocalchallenge, anyone?), Restaurant Week returns to form in 2021. From August 20 – 29, take the opportunity to reacquaint yourself with old stalwarts of the Des Moines dining scene and discover trendy new favorites.
Restaurant Week offers special menus for both lunch and dinner. Lunch features will be anywhere from $15 - $25, and dinner features will be $30 - $45. With ten days to dine, you can experience plenty of new culinary masterpieces, no matter your taste.
As much as we love the food, we love the people behind the food just as much, if not more. Do you have a favorite member of the restaurant community? Nominate them for the Staff Appreciation award here. They can be front of house or back of house but be sure to take the opportunity to thank a hard worker.
We have a list of participating restaurants, as well as menus for Restaurant Week 2021 to whet your appetite. Take a gander below and then map out your plan to dive in and find your new favorite spot.
