There’s a lot of artists we want to hear at 80/35 Music Festival, but there’s also plenty to see and do before, during, and after the bands hit the stage. This suggested itinerary will be music to your ears, with ideas taking you from brunch to the after-party! #CATCHdsm

Thursday:

5:30 – 7 p.m.: Kick off the weekend with a pre-party at Big Grove Brewery, enjoying local brews and mingling with fellow festival-goers.

8 p.m.: Head to xBK for another pre-party, where you can groove to live music and get into the festival spirit.

Friday:

Morning: Start your day at a local coffee shop, such as Horizon Line Coffee, Mars Cafe, or Northern Vessel to fuel up for the day ahead.

Late morning: Explore the beauty of the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, immersing yourself in the diverse plant life and stunning landscapes.

Afternoon: Visit the Historic East Village for First Friday, an event featuring local artists, boutique shops, and unique galleries.

Evening: Head to the 80/35 Music Festival, where the main stage will be headlined by The War on Drugs. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoy an incredible lineup of local and international acts.

Saturday:

Morning: Begin your day at the Downtown Farmers’ Market, where you can browse a wide array of fresh produce, local crafts, and delicious treats.

10 a.m.: Join the Good Vibes Movement for a gentle morning yoga class at Exile Lounge, located inside the festival grounds.

Daytime: Enjoy the full day at the 80/35 Music Festival, exploring the vintage and craft market, the kids' zone in partnership with the Science Center of Iowa, and the community non-profit village. Be sure to catch performances by both local and national music acts on the free and ticketed stages.

Night: To cap off the night, choose between an after-party at Teehee's Comedy Club for or xBK for more live music, depending on your taste.
