Sleepy Hollow and the Des Moines Winter Games are proud to announce one of their newest events, the Zipflbop World Series Race.

The race, taking place Saturday, February 6, will showcase over 40 competitors from Europe and the United States. The race is open to anyone to compete. The complete race schedule is as follows:

Friday, February 5
6 p.m. - Registration - Registration is $15
7 p.m. - Family Races - get your family team together and compete against other family teams - the family with the most points wins.

Saturday, February 6
9 a.m. - Registration
10 a.m. - Amateur races - open to anyone
1 p.m. - World Series Race - open to anyone

The Zipflfbop World Series Race at Sleepy Hollow will be the first ever on US soil. Competitors will be able to compete in two races while in the US, as Sleepy Hollow has partnered with Sunburst Mountain in Wisconsin to provide a second race the following weekend. Other stops include Germany, Sweden, Italy and Austria.

We also received word that the current World Champion, Paul Steinbach, will be traveling to the US to compete in the event at Sleepy Hollow.
