Des Moines International Airport (DSM) officials are announcing the Airport’s fifth consecutive perfect inspection by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspectors. (The actual FAA terminology is “no discrepancies found.”)

“This is a great testimonial to the professionalism of all the Airport’s employees. The annual inspections are very detailed. A finding of no discrepancies is rare, let alone doing it five years running”, states Airside Deputy Director Ken McCoy. “It takes a lot of hard work by all of our employees to be this successful.”

Aviation Director Craig Smith points out, “Central Iowa air travelers can feel confident that they are flying out of a very safe airport. Only a few airports each year get a perfect score.”
