DES MOINES, IA - For the first time ever, Des Moines will host the NCAA Division I Volleyball Regional Finals December 11-12, 2015 at Wells Fargo Arena. The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau, in partnership with the University of Northern Iowa and Wells Fargo Arena, will welcome Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota and back-to-back national champions Penn State to Greater Des Moines.
Fourth ranked Minnesota, led by former U.S. men's and women's national teams coach Hugh McCutcheon, will face Illinois on Friday at 5:00 p.m. followed by two-time defending National Champions Penn State versus seventh ranked Hawaii at 7:30 p.m.
"Hosting NCAA Division I Volleyball is an honor and great event for our city," says Greg Edwards, President and CEO of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and Des Moines Area Sports Commission. "Sports fans will have the opportunity to watch some of the best athletes in the country compete in Greater Des Moines."

Friday's winners will play to move on at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12 with the winner advancing to the Final Four held in Omaha, NE. Single session and all-session tickets are still available.
