DENVER - Frontier Airlines today announced the addition of new nonstop service between Des Moines International Airport (DSM) and Denver International Airport (DEN). Frontier will serve the Des Moines market with new six-days-per-week flights beginning Oct. 24, 2010. Frontier Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET)

Special introductory fares for this new service (for example: DSM to DEN for $59 each way, DSM to Seattle or San Francisco for $109 each way) will be available for sale for a limited time on FrontierAirlines.com beginning today, Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010.

“Along with Frontier’s three daily nonstops to Milwaukee, we are pleased to offer very affordable direct service to Denver,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier vice president of strategy and planning. “With nonstop service to Milwaukee and now Denver, Frontier provides Des Moines-area travelers with economical access to the east and west with connections to Frontier’s more than 70 destinations across the United States, Mexico and Costa Rica.”

Frontier’s new Des Moines service will be flown by the 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft. Customers on board these aircraft enjoy comfortable leather seating in a two-by-two configuration. In addition, the E190 has several rows of STRETCH seating, which provides an additional five inches of comfortable legroom. The Company’s E190 fleet will also be outfitted with in-flight internet service by the end of 2010.
