DES MOINES, IOWA – The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and Des Moines Area Sports Commission are proud to announce that Perry and Des Moines have been named as overnight stops for RAGBRAI in 2013.
“Events like this bring significant visitors and media attention to our area,” said Greg Edwards, President/CEO of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau/Des Moines Area Sports Commission. “We’re thrilled to have two RAGBRAI overnight stops within the region we serve.”
More than 10,000 RAGBRAI riders are expected from all over the country, with some even traveling here from outside of the United States.
Perry will be the overnight stop on Monday, July 22. Des Moines will be the overnight stop on Tuesday, July 23.
