Wineries in Des Moines

As of August 27 and through September 20, 2020, Governor Kim Reynolds issued a declaration of disaster emergency closing bars in Polk County and five other counties in Iowa. Establishments that serve food and alcohol are required to stop serving alcohol at 10 p.m. nightly through the duration of the declaration.

Some bars, distilleries, and wineries may remain open for curbside takeout. Please inquire with individual establishments if you are interested in ordering to-go alcohol.

Swirl. Smell. Sip. Repeat. Find your new favorite vino at a Greater Des Moines winery. Listen to live music, take in the view and enjoy a glass of Caba Moch at Summerset Winery in Indianola. Then make your way to La Vida Loca or Annelise for a wine tasting. Three wineries. Just a few miles apart. Then head back to Jasper Winery, close to Downtown, where you can end your day with a glass (or bottle) of Chancellor. Unscrew the cork. Raise your glass. And enjoy all the wine Greater Des Moines has to offer.
