Make your plans to taste the best wines, beers and spirits from across the state of Iowa. Vines, Steins and Stills: A Celebration of the Iowa Spirit Industry is happening on May 22nd at Festival
Park, located at Sleepy Hollow, from Noon – 8 PM. This one-day event will offer patrons a chance to try
wine, beer and liquor from 25 wineries, breweries, and a distillery, all of which are made right here in
Iowa.
Tickets for the event are $20. Wine will be available by the bottle or by the glass. Beer will be sold by the glass. Each patron will get a sampling card to keep track of what they have tried and to jot down notes.
Each vendor will be on hand to answer questions about their product. In addition to the 26 beverage
vendors, there will also be food vendors.
The Tony Valdez Large Band will headline the live music portion of the event from 6 PM – 8 PM.
Openers include the Princemen (1 PM – 3 PM) and Comfort Zone (3:30 PM – 5:30).
The event is sponsored in part by the Iowa Wine Growers Association and WHO-DT, the NBC affiliate in
Des Moines.

Shuttle Service
Sleepy Hollow will be offering a shuttle to several hotels as well as to and from downtown during the
festival.
