Locals and visitors can now learn more about Greater Des Moines within one free guide. Produced bi-annually, the new See Des Moines guide lists budget-friendly activities, hundreds of dining options, all 100+ area hotels and attractions for all ages.

“The publication, formerly called Intro, was geared specifically towards visitors,” said Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO Greg Edwards.  “This new guide speaks to both locals and visitors, which is especially important right now – as locals are spending more time exploring their own communities to save money.”

Over 150,000 copies of Spring/Summer 2009 See Des Moines will be delivered to various Greater Des Moines businesses and hotels this week.  Copies are also available at the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau (GDMCVB), 400 Locust Street, Suite 265, Des Moines.  An online version of See Des Moines is available at http://www.www.catchdesmoines.com under “Learn More,” click on “Request See Des Moines Guide.” A Fall/Winter 2009 edition will be released in September.

The vision of See Des Moines has been a collaborative effort of the GDMCVB and Business Publications LLC.
