DES MOINES, Iowa (September 13, 2019) – Catch Des Moines, the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau, has realigned and restructured several staff positions.
“As we enter into the Strategy Development and Recommendations phase of the Destination Master Plan project, we’ve been working diligently to realign staff resources to best support the future of our work in marketing Greater Des Moines to increase visitors,” said Greg Edwards, President and CEO of Catch Des Moines. “With many new projects underway and a set of ambitious goals to reach, I’m confident this new evolution of the Catch Des Moines team is well prepared to implement the plan.”

The process for developing the Destination Master Plan is set to conclude in fall 2019 following an eight-month initiative to build stakeholder consensus and an assessment of the region’s tourism infrastructure and destination development potential. This plan is being developed by Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). A full review of recommendations and strategies for marketing the Greater Des Moines region is forthcoming.
