The Varsity Theatre

Keep an eye out for the newest option for movie-going in the Des Moines area. The once closed Varsity Theatre in the Drake neighborhood has plans to reopen as a renovated cinema and film center. Plans include screenings of independent, foreign, genre retrospectives and more while also serving as a historic event space.
