Sleepy Hollow Sports Park

Adventure seekers can experience year-round fun at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park. In the winter you can enjoy tubing, Zipfy sledding, and Stiga sledding. Spring/summer is the time for the Renaissance Faire, go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, batting cages, laser tag, human foosball, and so much more! And in the fall find an elaborate, haunted theme park with new horrors at every twist and turn. 

Copper Creek Lake Park

Just fifteen minutes from the heart of downtown, Copper Creek Lake Park is an oasis of calm amid the city. This 40-acre lake is filled with wildlife and is surrounded by a 1.22-mile trail. Cyclists, walkers, and joggers can incorporate this in their everyday workout or commute as it is a part of the Four Mile Creek Greenway Trail system that connects Pleasant Hill with other Greater Des Moines communities. Also, make sure to check out Chill on the Hill. This event takes place every Friday in June at Copper Creek Lake Park. It is a 21+ event with beverages from Iowa Beverage Systems and live music! 

Great Escape

Escape into the fun at Great Escape. Play laser tag, virtual reality games, bags, bowling, and cosmic bowling! Then, head to Social - Eats & Crafts and find a wide variety of signature menu items and an even bigger selection of craft beer! We recommend the mac & cheese paired with one of the 26 beers on tap!

Art on the Lake

This non-profit corporation promotes arts within the community and aims to increase opportunities for local artists to flourish. Art on the Lake's annual festival provides local artists with workshops, classes, and opportunities to sell their artwork and build relationships within the community.

Copper Creek Golf Club & Events Center

This picturesque, 18-hole golf course is the ideal combo of friendly and challenging. After playing a few holes, the Copper Creek Golf Club & Events Center's Bunker Pub & Grill is the perfect place to sip on a pint and enjoy a burger.
