OrderTaki is always a great date night. The place was pretty busy the night we went, however you can still get the hibachi grill delivery to your table. I got the steak and scallops hibachi it was on point in the wishes the steak was even cooked exactly as I requested. If you are going for sushi I highly recommend the nom#9 by far my favorite roll in Des Moines.
We've come here two years in a row now on new year's day and it was great both times! This year we had a group of 13 and made reservations. We arrived a little early and were seated within a few minutes. They put on a great show, staff is super friendly, food was great and its something the kids remember and look forward to! See you next year!
The food here is like the best Japanese food I have ever eaten. I give them 5 stars but if I could I would have given them 100000 stars. The waiter was friendly and the food was good I recommend them to everyone.
I really enjoyed the food and the entertainment of having someone cook in front of you. I think it was cool to see different uncommon foods you don't usually see. I always saw Takoyaki and never did get to try it before, but they had it here. So everything was great and couldn't have asked for better.
Great service, Great food, Great Chef experience! Reservations suggested..go hungry a lot of food. Not a restaurant for really young kids , people bring them and they are very accommodating but the food and show should be really appreciated undistracted. My first time there and A Definite return!
