Des Moines, IA – The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau (GDMCVB) has been serving the community since 1908. Last night, at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown, the GDMCVB celebrated 102 years of serving Greater Des Moines by honoring local individuals and businesses that have helped make the last fiscal year a success.

“Greater Des Moines continues to attract 2.9 million visitors thanks in part to the support and assistance from these organizations and community champions,” said Greg Edwards, GDMCVB President and CEO. “As a community, we truly are stronger and better together.”

These organizations have been recognized for their commitment to the community and the GDMCVB through various acts of generosity, volunteerism, donations and partnerships with the GDMCVB staff, clients and partners.
