Business officials and individuals looking for ways to market themselves in this economic climate can attend a Marketing and Media Panel Discussion Tuesday, April 28 from 8 a.m. – Noon at Foxboro Conference Center, 6165 NW 86th Street in Johnston.

The event will feature three panels of local experts and reporters discussing marketing in this economic climate, social media, public relations and working with the media.

“We often receive questions from local businesses, meeting and event planners asking how to best market their business or event,” said Greg Edwards, Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO. “We hope these panel discussions help individuals learn about no cost and low cost ways to effectively market themselves.”
