The Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau, Des Moines Business Record and dsm Magazine invite residents and visitors to catch Des Moines’ seventh annual Des Moines Restaurant Week this Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 24.

“Greater Des Moines is rising as a culinary tourism destination thanks to the accomplishments of local eateries,” says Greg Edwards, President and CEO of the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and Des Moines Area Sports Commission. “Restaurant Week provides both locals and visitors an opportunity to experience taste of place provided by unique and memorable dishes from our city’s one-of-a-kind, locally-owned restaurants.”

Chefs at 32 of the Metro’s top restaurants will prepare special prix-fixe menus: two lunches or one three-course dinner for $25. As an added draw, participants may also enter to win a trip for two to Bermuda. To enter, diners must save at least four receipts from their dining experience at participating restaurants, then either mail or drop them off to dsm Magazine (100 4th Street, Des Moines) by Noon on Tuesday, August 26. Visit desmoinesrestaurantweek.com for the official rules.
