The 5,500-square-foot Wells Fargo History Museum showcases the shared history of Wells Fargo, Iowa and the U.S. over the last 150 years. Through interactive exhibits the museum connects Iowans to stories of opportunity, money, credit, banking services, and financial success. The museum also features a rotating art gallery with over 20 prominent pieces on display. The Des Moines History Museum location will be open extended hours on May 6, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This extension is part of a series - the first Saturday of every month, from May-October during the downtown Farmers Market, the doors will be open, free to the public.
