My yoga practice is truly about mindfulness, breathing, balance, and coaching of my ego. I practice asanas (postures) in order to connect my material world, what my body is doing, with my spiritual world, what my inner-self is feeling.
Through facilitation I will share my love of the practice with you by inviting you to connect to your breath, focus your awareness on your movements and how you feel, and finally ask you to apply what you've learned, and how you feel, to your life off of the mat.
My studies in yoga began here in Des Moines, back in 2013 and really sparked my love for the practice. I have since studied in India, and Mexico and come to you offering traditional Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa and The Rocket sequences.
In my time away from my mat I enjoy traveling, drinking any and all coffee, playing with my dog and a recent addiction to reading books. I look forward to sharing a practice with you.
