Acclaimed country act Vince Gill is set to bring his live show to the Hoyt Sherman Place stage this spring.
Scheduled for April 8, the American act announced the performance in anticipation of his 18th studio record, "Down To My Last Bad Habit." The record hits retailers on Feb. 12. Tickets to the show. which go on sale Jan. 13 at 10 a.m., cost $55, $65, $75 and $99.50. Tickets can be purchased via ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Hoyt Sherman Place box office.
"One of the most popular singers in modern country music, Vince Gill is famous for his top-notch songwriting, world-class guitar playing and warm, soaring tenor, all wrapped up in a quick and easy wit," the Hoyt Sherman website says.
Gill is a 20-time Grammy Award winner and 18-time Country Music Association award winner. He is known for country tracks such as "Go Rest High On That Mountain," "When I Call Your Name," "Look At Us" and "I Still Believe In You." Gill was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007. A news release notes Gill has made guest appearances on more than 500 albums, including alongside Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and George Jones.
