    The Starfish Throwers documentary tells the stories of three compassionate individuals, worlds apart, who strive to fight hunger in their communities despite constant reminders that hunger is too big for one person to solve. Through this heartwarming film, viewers bear witness to their intense struggles and beautiful triumphs.

    VIP ticket holders will enjoy hors d'oeuvres by Tangerine Food Company and premium cocktails on the rooftop at the Social Club with Jesse Roesler, the documentary's award-winning filmmaker. They will also have reserved seating in the theatre.

    General Admission ticket holders will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a complimentary cocktail (cash bar available).

    After the film Jesse Roesler will lead a discussion, answering audience questions about the film and its creation.

    Proceeds from the event will benefit Eat Greater Des Moines and The Food Bank of Iowa.
