Overview
On Saturday, April 22, join Des Moines Park & Recreation for the 2023 Mayor's Annual Ride! This annual event supports our trails. Mayor Frank Cownie will lead the ride.
The approx. 20 mile bike ride starts & ends at Principal Park, downtown. Starting from Principal Park - to Gray's Lake to Easter Lake - then back to Principal Park.
Registration fees for adults includes t-shirt & entry to win a free bike, refreshments at the rest stop along the route, and good company! The registration fees for youth includes refreshments at the rest stop & good company.
Please register by MARCH 1 to guarantee a t-shirt in your size!
Packets can be picked up at the Des Moines Parks & Recreation Administration Office, 1551 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, Monday, April 17 - Thursday, April 20, between 8am - 5pm. Pickup on Friday, April 21 will run 8am - Noon.
