Ages 5 - 11 Yoga for kids is a wonderful workshop that is fun, challenging, and creative. Your child will practice basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques, relaxation and have lots of fun during the two-hour workshop. Each workshop is carefully planned to enhance children's self-awareness and foster a deep sense of well-being through physical activity that is non-competitive, creative and fun. All children are invited to enjoy a light snack (provided) and create a craft to take home. Registered yoga teacher, Mary McCarthy, lead these workshops.
