Famed songwriter Jackson Browne announced his return to the Hawkeye state. "The Pretender" singer plans to perform alongside his band at the Des Moines Civic Center on June 21. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, Browne last played Des Moines in 2015, a show at Hoyt Sherman Place.
The seven-time Grammy Award nominee is known for tracks such as "Running on Empty," "Stay," "Doctor My Eyes" and "These Days." Browne co-wrote with Glenn Frey famed Eagles song "Take It Easy." His 14th studio album, "Standing in the Breach," debuted in 2014.
