    Meet The Panel - Tim Laehn, Director of Content, Denim®

    Tim Laehn is Denim’s director of content. He brings more than 10 years of experience in marketing and communications, including seven years in the financial services technology industry. A writing and design aficionado, Tim excels at all things content. He studied magazine journalism and graphic design at Drake University in Des Moines.

    Kyle Oppenhuizen, Director of Communications, Greater Des Moines Partnership - Kyle Oppenhuizen is Director of Communications at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, where he has worked since 2014. In his role, he oversees many of the organization's written communications including newsletters, internal and external letters and memos, news releases, speech and presentation preparation and much more. Prior to his time at The Partnership, Kyle worked as a reporter for the Des Moines Business Record for four years, covering economic development, transportation, technology, human resources and many more areas.

    Kyle is involved in the community as a member of the Young Professionals of Iowa Board and the Iowa State Daily Publication Board, and is a 2018 graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute's Community Leadership Program. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2009 with a BA in Journalism/Mass Communications.

    Katrina Reger, Digital Marketing Manager, Blue Compass - As the Digital Marketing Manager at Blue Compass, Katrina Reger, enjoys helping advance the online presence of our clients by taking an integrated and comprehensive digital marketing approach. Katrina graduated from Drake University, where she achieved a Bachelors Degree in Marketing with a concentration in direct and interactive marketing. She uses her education from Drake as well as her past professional experience to excel and continue growing in the field of online marketing. With a passion for learning, she continues to stay up-to-date with the latest changes and best practices for digital marketing and social media. Katrina is also inbound marketing certified through HubSpot and Google AdWords certified, as she continues to grow as a digital marketing professional.

    Katrina was born and raised in Wisconsin, but is more impressed with Iowa the longer she stays. When Katrina is not at work she enjoys craft beer, playing with her 6 month old golden retriever and cheering on the Packers!
