  • Overview

After successful events in 2016 and 2017, Polk County Conservation, the Great Outdoors Foundation, and Cumulus Media are proud to bring back Glow Wild for a third year to benefit local conservation and outdoor recreation efforts. Glow Wild is the premiere family-friendly Labor Day weekend event in the Des Moines area!

Join us for great food, beer and wine, and plenty of crafts and activities for both kids and adults. Glow Wild 2018 will be packed with all of the outdoor fun one can handle, including a glow-in-the-dark climbing wall, archery, giant yard games, canoeing, horse-drawn wagon rides, our signature towering bonfire, festival camping, nature hikes, and more throughout the evening! Oh, and don’t forget the free s’mores!

Glow Wild 2018 will also feature a popular country music headliner to be announced July 2 on Nash FM. The band will take the stage at 8 p.m. after we light the bonfire at 7:45 p.m. Come for the entire day or just for the concert!

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 6th at 10 a.m. Purchase them online at
