    The DSM Book Festival is produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership as part of its efforts to promote Downtown Des Moines (DSM), the core of the region, as vibrant, fresh, contemporary, active, cultural and diverse. The purpose of The Festival is to connect people who love books with people who create them.

    Activities include: Live music & entertainment, food & drink, kids' activities, DM Storytellers Prjoect, plus best-selling authors: Nnedi Okorafor, author of Marvel's "Blank Panther: Long Live the King"; Garth Stein, author of NY Times best seller "The Art of Racing in the Rain"; AViD presents Susan Orlean, author of The NY Times best seller "The Library Book" and IPR presents Ted Genoways, author of "This Blessed Earth".
