Overview

The Des Moines Arts Festival® is Iowa’s largest and most prestigious arts and cultural event drawing over 200,000 people annually to downtown Des Moines the last weekend of June. For 25 years, this free, three-day festival has served as a celebration of arts, culture and community and been crowned by its peers as one of the best festivals in the world! The Festival features 190 professional artists in a variety of mediums, interactive arts activities, live music on two stages and a variety of culinary offerings from area restaurants and mobile vendors.
