Actor Corey Feldman, known for roles in 1980s classics “Stand By Me,” “Gremlins” and “The Goonies,” is set to bring his latest musical tour to Wooly’s in Des Moines’ East Village on November 1. General admission tickets to the show cost $20 in advance; meet-and-greet tickets cost $95 in advance. All tickets on sale starting Friday, August 25 at noon via woolysdm.com and at the Wooly’s box office (504 E. Locust).
The actor is billed to appear alongside his band The Angels and, according to a news release, this marks the fifth time Feldman has toured the U.S.
“Corey will be performing rare songs from all of his solo albums and classic originals from his film soundtrack catalogue and covers of some of the hits from his own films, including songs off iconic motion picture film soundtracks such as ‘Dream a Little Dream,’ ‘Lost Boys,’ ‘The Goonies’ and more,” a news release said.
The 46 year-old star released his fifth studio album, “Angelic 2 the Core” in 2016. The the double record features celebrity guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Fred Durst and Nina Hagen as well as a cover of John Lennon’s famed number “Working Class Hero.” Recent non-musical projects from Feldman include an appearance in “Sharknado 3” and publishing a memoir, “Coreyography.”
