Get ready for another year of the Storytellers Project in Des Moines! In our first year last year, we were able to share true, first-person stories from neighbors & notables with more than 2,000 attendees over 8 events!
In our second year, we are shaking things up & releasing the entire schedule — right now — so you can buy tickets & plan your year. The project is dedicated to the idea that oral storytelling & journalism have the same goals: serving & reflecting a community while fostering empathy among those people. These nights blend the authenticity & hype-free discipline of storytelling as an art form, with the truthfulness, community-building & empowerment that's at the heart of great journalism.
