ciWeek (Celebrate! Innovation™ Week) is a much anticipated annual event for to listen and learn from accomplished dreamers, continuous creators, and subject matter experts. Over the course of a week in the early spring Central Iowans can seize the chance to engage with the diverse roster of speakers at Des Moines Area Community College West Campus. Lifelong learners of all ages are welcome as ciWeek effectively bridges generational gaps in the name of inspired innovators.

Innovation has been a core value of DMACC West since it was established in 2001. The primary goal of every program and course offering has been to foster student creativity and innovation. ciWeek is the thriving, inspiring, embodiment of this goal.

Levar Burton and fansLeVar Burton signs a fan's shirt at ciWeek 2015.

ciWeek is a local-facing conference with world-class presenters, making it a unique combination likened to the combo of a university lecture series, Ted Talks, and SXSW. Unlike other large conferences, there is a speaker meet-and-greet after each talk where attendees have the opportunity to converse personally with the speakers and collect signatures!

See presentations from extremely innovative people. Engage. Absorb. Be inspired. ciWeek is completely free and made possible through the donations of generous sponsors. If you’re interested in a sponsoring this incredible event, email DMACC West Provost, Dr. Anthony Paustian, at adpaustian@dmacc.edu
