Blank Park Zoo's Wild Lights Festival presented by MidAmerican Energy Company
For the first time in Iowa, experience a visually stunning festival of over 35 larger-than-life illuminated animal-shaped Asian lanterns designed and fabricated by artisans. Coming to Blank Park Zoo this spring, immerse your family in light and culture in a limited capacity, social distance friendly festival.
Over 3 million people have experienced this very popular event. Tickets for Blank Park Zoo members are on sale now and public ticket sales begin Feb 25.
Festival hours are 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, April 1 - May 31.
Open Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2021. Closed May 1 and May 22.
Festival open rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
