    Why 40/30?

Empowering and encouraging girls and women to raise their voices is central to the mission of both Chrysalis and the Young Women’s Resource Center, who share the legacy of being founded by Des Moines activist and philanthropist Louise Rosenfield Noun.

Iowa Women in Public Policy, founded in 2001 by Leann Jacobsen was a bipartisan nonprofit organization with a mission to increase the number of women influencing public policy and the number of Iowa women elected to public office.

VoteRunLead is the nation’s largest and most diverse training program for women to run for elected office. Founded by Erin Vilardi as a result of The White House Project, the organization works to equip women with the knowledge and skills to enter the political arena.
