THE IOWA HUNGER SUMMIT is a free event, open to the public and held each year in October. Due to COVID-19 we have made the decision to host the 2020 Iowa Hunger Summit in a virtual format spanning the week of October 19 - 23. More details about the online format and registration will be released soon.
The Iowa Hunger Summit brings together hundreds of Iowans from across our state representing community organizations, business and industry, state and local government, social agencies, churches and religious communities, schools and universities, and other groups that lead or participate in projects to eradicate hunger.
The virtual week-long event will feature speakers and panel sessions with leaders and experts in confronting hunger and food insecurity through a variety of lenses.
We invite you to participate in this virtual event to learn and discuss how we can collaboratively work together to end hunger and food insecurity in Iowa.
The 2020 Iowa Hunger Summit will take place on October 19-23 in a new virtual format.
