1900 Farm Dinners/Chicken

  • Overview

Imagine yourself in 1900, visiting your grandparents’ farmhouse for a hearty home-cooked meal. That’s the experience of a dinner at the 1900 Farm. A horse-drawn wagon will carry you from your car to the farmhouse (weather permitting), where you’ll cozy up to the wood-burning stove in the parlor & learn how this family would have lived & worked. Then we’ll call you into the cozy kitchen for a delicious meal prepared using historic recipes. Before dessert, you can make a lantern-lit visit to the historic 1889 barn, or stay inside &keep warm while you play a game of checkers or try the pump organ. Meals are served family-style, so everyone at the table eats from the same menu. Main course depends on date. Additional dinners in February, March, and April will go on sale in December.
