PGA TOUR Champions professionals take over Wakonda Club for the 2025 Principal Charity Classic May 30 – June 1, 2025, and this year’s event is teeing up more fun, more community connection, and more ways to give back than ever before. Whether you're a first-timer or a longtime fan, here are five exciting things you won’t want to miss at this year’s tournament:

1. Take a Seat – and Take It Home!

Arrive early Friday through Sunday for a shot at scoring the ultimate tournament souvenir: your very own Principal Charity Classic camp chair. These comfy chairs will be placed at some of the top fan viewing spots across the course, ready for you to relax in style. Even better? They’re yours to keep. It’s part of the PCC’s sustainability push, turning public seating into reusable swag fans can bring back year after year. The 2025 chairs are courtesy of UnitedHealthcare.

2. A Bigger, Better Family Zone

If you’ve got little ones in tow, the Blank Children’s Hospital Family Zone is your go-to spot. It’s back and better than ever, featuring hands-on fun from the Des Moines Children’s Museum, a playset from Rainbow of the Heartland, and a sensory-friendly space from KultureCity. Don't forget to stop by the Autograph Zone, just a short walk away. It’s a kid-friendly oasis with something for all ages – and a great place to take a break while the pros take their shots. Kids 15 and under receive free admission to the tournament ground with a ticketed adult.

3. Ride to Give: Pedal to the PCC + Build a Bike

Championship Sunday is the perfect day to swap four wheels for two. Pedal to the PCC presented by GreenState Credit Union returns in 2025, encouraging fans to ride their bikes to the tournament. Enjoy bike valet, a free beer coupon, and a tournament gift – and don’t stop there. Head over to the MidAmerican Energy Sustainability Grove, where Variety – the Children’s Charity and Bike World will help fans assemble bikes that will be donated to kids right here in Des Moines. Ride in, give back – it's a win-win.

4. Birdie Beers Are Back

The Busch Light Beer Garden within the Wellabe Fan Village at 14 green is the place to be if you're chasing birdies and brews. Each time a PGA TOUR Champions pro sinks a birdie on 14, it’s your cue to raise a glass – Birdie Beers will be served at a special discounted price! Add in yard games, local vendors, concessions, and a giant video board, and you've got yourself a hole-in-one hangout all day long.

5. Lounge in Luxury at the 1922 Club

Looking to upgrade your experience? The 1922 Club offers the ultimate tournament day – featuring first-class hospitality on the 18th green and exclusive access to the Wakonda Clubhouse. Open bar? Check. Lunch buffet? Absolutely. It’s the best way to elevate your day while staying close to the action.
