Cheer on Iowa’s only NBA Affiliate basketball team in their season opener at Wells Fargo Arena. The Iowa Wolves take on the Salt Lake City Stars in their season opener Friday, November 2. Come support the Minnesota Timberwolves’ G-league team with tip off at 7 p.m.

IOWA HIGH SCHOOL STATE CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIPS

Stop by the Iowa State Fairgrounds to see the high intensity that high schoolers across Iowa bring to the mat. Watch as students flip, jump and stunt to new heights in hopes of hitting a perfect score. Admission to this event is $10 and free to children under 5.

The not so typical look of a cappella takes the Des Moines Civic Center stage this month. Straight No Chaser are neither strait-toned or straight-faced, bringing a fresh new spin on a cappella with an all-male group. Tickets start at $37.50.

DISNEY ON ICE CELEBRATES 100 YEARS OF MAGIC

Watch your favorite Disney Princesses glide across the ice at Wells Fargo Arena. Audiences will indulge in the magic of Disney as Mouse-ter of ceremonies Mickey Mouse leads a parade of more than 50 beloved characters. Shows run Wednesday through Sunday, tickets start at $26.75.
