Take mom out the first Mother’s Day Prix Fixe menu at Proudfoot and Bird on Sunday, May 8. Executive Chef, Andrew Wilson, has a menu for all ages and pallets. Each reservation comes with a bottle of processo and a basket of pastries. Cost is $80 per person.
Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse
Enjoy a tasty Mother’s Day brunch at Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in Des Moines on Sunday, May 8. The Mother’s Day menu features de burgo benedict, crab cake benedict, chocolate chip bread pudding French toast, ham and cheese quiche, and steak and eggs. The special menu runs from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Their dinner menu will be served all day.

Celebrate all mothers at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park during their Spring Fling – A Celebration of Mother Earth and All Mothers May 7 – 8. Take mom to enjoy the fresh air, food, and shops. The kids can burn energy jousting and playing games of skill. Join them for a Mother’s Day Brunch at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday.
