2018 AAU Junior Olympic Games
July 25th - August 4th, 2018

The 2018 AAU Junior Olympic Games will be coming to Des Moines July 25-August 4. The Games bring an estimated 40,000 visitors to Central Iowa over 14 days, with 14,000 athletes from all over the United States. There are 14 sports competing in the games including: track and field, jump rope, wrestling, and many more. The majority of athletes will be competing at Drake Stadium and the Iowa Events Center. The event will have an economic impact that is expected to exceed $40 million.
For an event this large we are in great need of volunteers! Our goal is to have 2,000 volunteers to help with the success of the Games. Each volunteer will receive a free t-shirt and a credential to get into the facilities.
